Mibolerone( formerly "Cheque Drops" ) is a compounded
contraceptive for preventing bitches from coming into heat. This
product has been used extensively in show dogs and by breeders for
the prevention of estrous or the lengthening of the inter-estrous
interval, the time between a bitches heat.
It is an anabolic steroid that helps to develop muscle and tone
in dogs. It has been used by body builders as well.
Steroids in general have the potiential to adversely affect the
liver and for this reason monitoring liver function is important.
Monitoring liver function is necessary especially in older bitches.
