This is an intravenous form of omeprazole to be used in horses,
llamas, and other equine or large exotic animals in situations where
oral omeprazole paste (GastroGard®) cannot be used, such as
acute gastric ulceration or equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS).
Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce gastric
acid.
Omeprazole for Injection is available in 10mL vials in strengths
